Terms + Conditions

  • We do not offer refunds. If you would like to change your garment this must be done minimum 1 week prior to your event and subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange to have a credit note issued, which will be valid for 6 months.

  • Payment of the garment hire is required upon booking. You will receive an invoice for the garment which you can pay directly with your card details. Please note without payment we will be unable to hold your item.

  • All garments must be collected 1-2 days prior to event (unless otherwise arranged). An additional fee may occur if you request for a longer hire duration. You must check the garment and ensure you are happy with it’s condition when you collect it. If you do not raise an issue with us at that time you are presumed to be satisfied with it.

  • All garments are to be returned to the Borrowed Boutique Co. Wardrobe on Sunday or between 7 – 11:00 Monday (unless otherwise arranged). You are liable to pay a late fee of $10.00 per day for every day the return of the garment is delayed beyond the agreed return date.

    If your rental is posted, you are required to return the dress on the next business day after the hired date and must be before 10:00 with the prepaid satchel provided and drop in a yellow post box or into your local AusPost Office.

  • We ship express post Australia wide! Postal hires will receive garments 1-2 days prior to your event. All parcels are marked authority to leave, if you require your parcel to be signed for you, you must specify this in the delivery instructions (additional fee may apply). Depending on the size of the garment you want shipped, we charge $30.00 for small parcel or $37.00 for medium parcel, which is covered for both delivery and return postage. *Please note the above postage prices are aligned with Australia Post fees.

    In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery.

  • Professional cleaning is included in your hire, and you agree that no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron/press garment/s (unless otherwise arranged).

  • We understand that small damages are common and are usually very easy to fix, so be honest and upfront with us. We appreciate this and together we can work towards fixing the situation. Damage expenses are the responsibility of the customer. Usually, the dry cleaners or a seamstress can fix an item. Take photographic evidence of the damage, prior to return of the item.

    If Borrowed Boutique Co assesses (at its sole discretion) that the dress is not repairable, you will be charged the replacement value of the dress; as per the RRP. The same applies if you fail to return it for whatever reason or if it is lost or stolen.

    You will treat the garment with the upmost of care, you agree not to remove any tags from the garment/s.

  • By hiring a garment from Borrowed Boutique Co. you agree to provide card details and proof of identity. This will be saved on your client file until the dress is returned and the hire agreement is cancelled. We request your details every time you hire out an item as we do not keep personal information on file for confidentiality reasons. This agreement will need to be signed, ensuring that you agree to allowing Borrowed Boutique Co. to charge your visa or credit card if a dress is damaged, stolen or lost as per the above.
